The Cape
Coral R/Sea Hawks is a club of about 300 active members
from early teens to the retired. The aerial photograph (above) shows the
new 2005 runway that is 60X600'. We are always anxious to welcome new
people to the sport, there are organized training programs for new
pilots and a wealth of advice for beginning builders and flyers. This is
a club designed to promote clean family fun and the building of skills
for all. We welcome both spectators and those interested in learning
and/or increasing their piloting and model building skills. |

The Cape Coral R/Sea Hawks is an AMA (Academy of Model Aeronautics) sanctioned club #543. This means that strict, nationally recognized guidelines are used by our members for design, safety and training in order to preserve the attraction, enjoyment and safety of all. The air park is a city owned facility located at 1030 28th St. NW. All pilots must have a Valid AMA card posted on the frequency board located in the main "hanger" while flying. All flying of powered aircraft must be kept North of the 1' Safety fence. When the Glider flight line is active the prevailing wind conditions will establish the Flight Line location. Currently Saturday mornings are reserved for our active glider pilots. Bring a chair, relax and enjoy the quiet. During the winter months we meet at The Gulf Coast Village, 1333 Santa Barbara Blvd., Cape Coral on the third Thursday of the month. Small building on your left as you enter the area. Program at 7:00, meeting about 7:30 p.m.. |
